Your responsibilities:
Teaching and supporting a range of learners by adapting art activities, techniques, and materials to suit different needs and abilities.
Communicating clearly with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure pupils receive consistent and effective support.
Encouraging students’ creative and personal development by building their confidence, resilience, independence, and problem‑solving skills.
Planning and delivering engaging Music lessons that spark curiosity, inspire experimentation, and develop technical and visual communication skills.
Using strong, subject‑specific vocabulary to help pupils discuss, analyse, and understand techniques, processes, and concepts.
Assessing pupils’ progress through practical work and reflective elements, offering constructive feedback to help them refine their skills and thinking.
Who We’re Hoping to Meet:
QTS is desirable, but unqualified teachers and applicants with relevant education or experience are welcome to apply.
Has experience working with children or young people and genuinely enjoys supporting them through practical, hands‑on learning.
Builds strong, positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents, helping create an encouraging and inclusive creative environment.
Works confidently and collaboratively as part of a school team, contributing to the wider creative life of the school.
Can adapt teaching approaches, materials, and artistic processes to meet the varied needs, abilities, and learning styles of students.
