An Ofsted outstanding Catholic school located in the Hampshire area are seeking to appoint a Music teacher on a full time and temporary basis, from January 2023. This would initially be a year contract to cover a maternity leave, but permanent opportunities may open up.

The secondary school and sixth form boasts exceptional academic results, consistently operating well above national rates at GCSE level and in the top few percent nationally for A level results. The students are extremely committed to their studies and as a result there is very little, if any, behavioural management required.

The ideal candidate will:

-          Have previous experience teaching Music from KS3 up to KS5 level.

-          Engage students through a variety of teaching methods.

-          Be willing to fully engage with the school ethos.

-          Embrace career enhancement opportunities through the CPD available at the school.

It is not mandatory to be a Catholic to be considered for this role, but appreciate of the Catholic culture as a minimum requirement is preferred. The school are open to applications from teacher of varying experience, ranging from ECT’s to those on Upper Pay Scale. Part time may also be accepted for the right candidate.
