We are seeking an ambitious Music Teacher who can teach Music up to KS5 at a modern 11 - 18 Secondary School in Salisbury. This position starts in October and will initially be for two terms but if the candidate and school match up well it is very likely this role will extend and become permanent.

  • We are looking for a candidate who has the relevant music degree and qualified teacher status
  • This role is suitable for an experienced teacher who can teach the KS3 – KS5 Music curriculum
  • Salary is dependent on experience, training, and/or qualifications
  • The teacher must have a child only DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one (we can assist with this)
  • This role would suit a candidate who can inspire young minds and raise attainment throughout the Music Department
  • This is a full time vacancy

The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons, that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities. You must also be approachable, and be able to inspire, engage and enthuse students in their love and understanding of music. 

Their catchment is truly diverse in every sense and the successful candidate will be able to engage, inspire, stretch, and support pupils across the full spectrum of the pupil community, including the most gifted and those with the largest gaps in learning and/or working significantly below age expectation.
