Music Teacher – South Manchester

November 2021

This Ofsted good school are currently looking for either an experienced or NQT Music teacher who will be able to teach both KS3 and KS4 classes. The school is passionate to appoint this teacher as soon as possible for a trial date with the initial start date being from the 1st of November.  

Their will be the opportunity for this contract to become a full time position after the initial first term and after the Christmas break they will consider the potential candidate for a rolling contract.

Job responsibilities:

  • Full time Music teacher required for the duration of the academic year 2021/2022.
  • Maternity cover at this recently become Academy situated in the heart of Chorlton
  • Option to progress onto a school based contract for the successful Music teacher.
  • Pay will be dependent upon pay scale ranging between MPS1-MPS6 (new pay scales to be adhered to).

This school is located in the heart of the local community with it being situated within pleasant residential surroundings, the school prides itself on having positive ethos and values to all students. They are therefore looking for a Music teacher who is able to teach high quality lessons. Being a highly regarded secondary school, students’ behaviour is considered very positive with students being engaged with school life.

The school is located in the heart of the South Manchester area, making it very easy to commute to Music teachers travelling by public transport or car. The school is close to the local train station as well as the local metrolink tram network which services the whole of Greater Manchester. For those Music specialists travelling by car, the school is close to the M60 motorway networks and is set in very pleasant surroundings with a large on site secure car park.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
