Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or Autism Specialist looking for a rewarding role supporting pupils across KS2? Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated support staff to work within a variety of primary schools across Sefton ahead of the busy September intake.

We are working closely with schools in Maghull, Formby, Bootle, Waterloo, Crosby and Thornton who require skilled and compassionate staff to support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs on a long-term basis (including temp to perm roles).

  • Supporting pupils across KS2 on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
  • Working closely with children with:
    • Autism (ASC)
    • ADHD
    • Speech & Language Needs
    • Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
    • Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH)
    • Challenging behaviour
  • Helping pupils access learning and reach their full potential
  • Building positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents
  • Creating a calm, engaging and supportive learning environment
  • Short-term, long-term and potential permanent opportunities
  • Full-time and flexible working patterns available
