Head of Department Art & Photography Teacher - The Role    
 
In the heart of Lewisham, an all through Secondary School are on the hunt for a Head of Art and Photography Teacher of Art and Photography to start in September. This is a permanent position for the perfect Teacher. The school are looking for an Art & Photography specialist teacher as Head of Subject, both experienced and aspiring middle leaders are encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity as a first leadership position, or for a suitably experienced candidate the post of 2ic of the Art and DT Faculty is available. The successful candidate will lead strategically on the continuing development of the curriculum at KS3 in particular and is an inspirational and collaborative leader with a 'can-do' attitude. The right candidate will be an excellent teacher with strong subject knowledge, experienced with curriculum initiatives and excited about learning beyond the curriculum. As an all-through school there will be opportunities to work with the primary team to deliver creative and engaging lessons to our younger pupils whilst also working collaboratively with colleagues as a member of the thriving Art & DT Team.
