Teaching Personnel is recruiting an experienced Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) to join a specialist education setting in Warminster from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced safeguarding professional who is passionate about protecting vulnerable children and young people. Working within a specialist educational environment, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the welfare of pupils, supporting staff and ensuring safeguarding remains at the heart of everything the school does.
We are looking for an individual with previous safeguarding experience who can hit the ground running and confidently contribute from day one.
This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to build strong professional relationships with pupils, families and external agencies.
As Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and wider leadership team to maintain the highest standards of safeguarding across the school.
Experience within a specialist school, alternative provision or residential education setting would be highly desirable.
