A large Secondary School in Durham are recruiting an Art teacher to start from May 2024 on a full-time basis. The school are keen to appoint a talented and skilled Art teacher who will enrich the department and support students throughout both KS3 and KS4.

This role is also open to Newly Qualified Art Teachers (NQTs) who are looking to start their NQT Induction either this, or next academic year. The school has a bespoke and successful NQT induction that has shaped some fantastic leaders across the School.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must have UK QTS
  • You must be able to work effectively as part of a growing team.
  • Good understanding of the Art curriculum
  • Must be able to motivate and inspire the younger generation.
  • You must meet teaching standards to a ‘Good or Outstanding’ level.
